this year i had 4 valentines... and boy are they 4 cute ones :)

T is holding daddys valentines card, and flowers that K and dustin made me. camden is wearing pink pajamas bc it's valentines day :) (or we may be needing to buy some new ones his size...) K is holding the card she and D made for me. D also got a Ninja (blender thing) we're really into smoothies right now... well, at least this week. And all the kids have hearts on their chairs with things we love about them. oh and we have our heart chain hanging we tear off each day to teach us what the bible says love is. what a pink, hearty valentines :)

D met K at preschool for her valentines party. they made cookies and crafts and he was the only dad to go in the class. awwwwww... he loooooooves his little girls. he's gonna be one heck of a daddy. well, he already is.

my crazy "mommy what are we going to make tonight," craft loving, clip on earring, high heel wearing, imaginary friend talking, glue stick loving, only 3, not 4 year old girl... is a hoot.

2 new facts... one, her eczema is crazy and i just can't figure it out... the past 2 days she's been getting these little patches of hives. i feel SO bad for her itching all the time, and i hate to drug her all the time also. so i think we're leaning towards allergy testing... and secondly, she got her first bite a week and a half ago... and it's still there! and actually looks worse than this picture that was taken right after... it was such a sad moment when it happened at a playdate. it really traumatized her for quite a few days... it probably would me too if someone latched onto my arm...

Last weekend my amazing husband hosted his company business trip at The Biltmore Inn. It was a fun weekend Camden and I joined in on while my wonderful mom kept the girls. Besides fancy dinners, meetings, spas, and skeet shooting... Dustin, Anna-K, Chris, Dad and I went and rode horses. and boy was it interesting... lets just say the instructor was not very nice and the horses were so slow and bit each other the whole time, so we entertained ourselves :) and enjoyed a cool view of the back side of the Biltmore house...

the instructor had a nice comment for the guys covering their eyes while riding :)

she loves to take showers currently. i think its because she knows she's allowed to play with shaving cream in the shower. I'm not totally sure what she thinks it is... soap, food, toilet paper, lotion?

every night before bath time kinsely does a small broadway production, camden squeals and plays with his feet naked on our bed (and no, he never pees!), and teagan roams around in her saggy diaper walking around in heels...

she has a major shoe obsession.

she locked me out of the bathroom the other day. when i finally opened the door 5 minutes later the water in the sink was 1/2 inch from the top going full force...

(that's probably why it basically sounds broken)

she found a new love last week at Yolo.

frozen yogurt. it was a first for her, and i'm pretty sure she didn't look up for 10 minutes, until she ran out and moved onto finish up kinsleys cup for her. (this child has a MAJOR sweet tooth. anything sweet she can get her hands on, she's eating or drinking)

she loves to play with her brother... she somehow slipped herself in right beside him

she loves to play with cars... always has.

she makes the noises and goes back and fourth...

except the other night... we caught her somehow attempting to stand on it, and seconds later she's screaming with a bloody toe nail, and blood blistered toe. leave it to her. we have no idea how this thing hurt her. to top it off, it was that wonderful day no one napped. whew.

she LOVES her tap and ballet class and is so good at it! she makes me so proud the way she listens and participates :) they have their recital in june and i can't wait to see her on a big stage! (i hope she's better than the video tapes I've seen of myself at this age... my parents must have been so embarrassed! :) right mom? lol!)

now her pictures could convenience you she knows whats she's doing, but this video will show you her heel-toe needs some practice. and it will have you laughing by the end.

i mean what the heck is she doing with her hands at the end, and why are her legs so stiff? :)

we've been working on letters and she can say the sound that every letter makes, and write (or should a say draw) most of them... this is from a few weeks ago, so she's improved a little bit, but i can read them at least :) we went through writing the whole alphabet last night, and i may have had to bribe her with a chip to write each letter... but we got through! (she's just like me... i'll be bald by the time i finish raising her)

my baby is 6 months old today!

where has this time gone! he is the most precious little guy ever.

his face lights up when he sees his mommy, he could laugh forever at his sisters and loves how his daddy tosses him around. (don't worry, it's not as bad as teagan) he's almost always happy and smiling, if he's not smiling he's drooling or chewing on something.

he weights 20 lbs. and my back and hips love it. he likes rice cereal. enjoys riding in the car and stroller. he cut his nose with his fingernail and it's bled off and on all day long. his current favorite thing to do is jump. if you pick him up and he's been jumping he keeps trying to jump in your arms. and he loves his monkey lovie. (aka his "baby" in this house :)

now i know he's gonna love these pictures one day...

check out these amazing rolls, they come in every angle, every direction... but they do go away when laying flat :)

and just like pictures of his dad when he was little, this bow just happened to still be in his dresser from teagan, so we thought we'd try it out... and maybe take a picture :)

in the first 3 chaotic months of camden's life i told myself if we make it to the end of the year, then we'll make it through anything.

well, we made it! and for the most part we've worked the kinks out and figured out how to do this 3 little kid thing :)

life is very entertaining, lots of fun, we're not dependent on caffeine anymore (dustin hasn't had any since christmas day!) and we're really enjoying each other!

and we're slowly getting to the point where the kids are more on the same page... at least being entertained by the same thing :)

looked a little different...

i was around 14 weeks pregnant. i had a 6 month old and a 2 year old. we went on a awesome ski trip to park city...

Dustin spent little time that month figuring out how to ski down steep bowls... he continued flipping, sliding and rolling

poor Teagan got SUPER sick for a couple weeks. could hardly breath or see...still not sure what it was, assuming the flu.

Dustin had his big company trip to the Biltmore... he stole 10 minutes to hold his pitiful baby girl.

kinsley had just turned 2 and began the long lasting phase of dressing up...and oh, she's getting SO big!

and one year ago, we could play in the playroom sitting still, with one or two toys... now, there all over the place.

the kids. well, and usually the toys.

and we changed out the baby in the same ole car seat... this year it's my baby boy!

almost every other night lately, after the little 2 are in bed, kinsley comes up to me and says "mommy what are we going to make tonight!?" and she rambles off ideas for us... and then her sweetness forces me to come up with something.

i love it. she's a great helper and secretly i think i like to bake. i really always have. there's just one problem, I'm not that good at it. i have mental deficiancy when it comes to following a recipe. for example tonight we made oatmeal chocolate chip cookies... well first i put them in the oven for about a minute forgetting the chocolate chips... i scraped them off the pan, back into the bowl, let them cool off, then when i added the chips i added the entire bag, and it was supposed to be one cup. so i sat there picking out chocolate chips. ugh. a pretty typical experience.

so hopefully this poor girl will learn something from me in regards to cooking and leave the retardation to me.

and she's a pro with the mixer :)

3 nights ago... she didn't fall asleep until after 10pm.

eating too much icing before bed is not good.

these things we're basically like eating syrup with sugar on it.

and sometimes we invent our own creations!

and we find people or a person to eat them for us... and we watch him eat it to make sure he's enjoying it :)

sometimes we play dress up. we'll they do. although this morning kinsley informed me she didn't want to go to preschool and wanted all of us to dress up in her princess dresses, she would share, (wow, thanks) and go to the store together. i nicely said great idea, but we'll have to do it another day... hoping she'll forget. camden has no idea what he's in for :)

usually she walks around with her baby dolls shushing them and bouncing them... so cute and funny! (she got it from K and i guess K got it from me when teagan was born)

the markers and paper are kept up there, AWAY from her... so we thought.

she's been able to spell her name since the week she turned 3 and we're working on writing it now... here's her letter A! she's perfected this and a few others... the A on the left she decided looked more like on octopus, so she turned it into one :) she loves to practice!

K also had her 3 year doctors appointment last week. so maybe 3 year 1 month appt. but she is 36lbs (88%) and 38.8in. (80%). her doctor said she's well ahead for her age in every way, and she would be guessed as a 4 year old with her size, verbal skills, and knowledge. the dr gave me tips on her eczema and at the end of the appointment she got a shot ((vaccine) and you would have thought the nurse tried to kill her. she HateS shots.. i mean who doesn't, but i think she's even more traumatized by the bandaid. :)

if you put a kid in a carseat with a toboggan on chances are he may end up like this when you open the door to get him out of the car. it helps them sleep well, but I'm not too sure about breath well.

and if you happened to notice camdens pink shirt and purple pants. yes, he is wearing the girls old pajamas. mom watched the kids for me tuesday so i could go see my grandma with dad and camden decided to have a blow out then. he's pooped the past 3 tuesdays, and none in-between... but seems fine with it. i'll have to remember this next tuesday... anyone available for babysitting? :)

this post is for myself to remember the one time i put hours in, over multiple days, to completely organize the playroom.

i am proud. children's toys have about 2,398 parts per toy. the children don't know that and don't care about keeping them together. they think they stay in the same container on their own. i will make sure they know before they die that they don't and their mother loved spending time each evening with their lovely toys.

and teagan, i want to thank for for taking every puzzle off the shelf every time you walked in this room, along with throwing at least 15 other objects onto the floor... you better be glad your so stinking funny and cute! :)

and today we were supposed to go zip lining with anna, chris and whitney and right before we were headed out, i pulled my hair back and pinched something in my neck and right shoulder... and couldn't move all day. how depressing. so enjoyed this amazing weather, and first day of 2012... sleeping, miserably.

christmas morning began with us waking up and hoping in the car headed to mimi and joejoe's house for breakfast and getting SPOILED ROTTEN! (or presents :) they love to make up games for us to do to get our presents... and they are definitely worth playing! it's like wrapping paper chaos in there for a couple hours :)

we get out of the car,the little ones were in the stroller and Kins was right beside me. We were about 5 feet away from the car and I look back and hear Kinsley screaming, blood all over her face, in her mouth and she's hysterically crying. it was SO sad. she tripped over her own feet i guess. busted the inside and outside of her lip and had little pieces of asphalt all in her mouth and in the scrape on her face. so while i'm trying to stop the bleeding and calm her down the little ones are just sitting in the stroller, FREEZing! oh it was a mess. an honest thought going through my head while i'm wiping all her blood off was Lord PLEASE don't ever let this happen to Camden... i must have thought it 100 times. anyhow, my sweet girl got special treatment today :)...and then went out with daddy for milkshakes :)

the little kids woke up from their naps and i set them both on the couch watching something on TV for a moment. T had a snack cup of goldfish. a couple minutes later (watching them the whole time... at least i thought) Camden makes a little cough, and another one, so i go over to pick him up and he's in the process of swallowing (with a little gasp for air) a goldfish, given to him by his sweet sister. he had goldfish breath. she tried to feed him another one with me holding him and he opened his mouth right up and then smiled. oh lordy...3rd kids have it rough :)

the kids did 3 songs and didn't miss a motion. i would say they sang 3 songs but i'm pretty sure their mouths were closed most of the time. maybe next year they get to actually sing :) it was cute though! :)

and i just look at the monitor while writing this and (this picture was taken with my phone so it's awful too...) but most of her right leg is out of the crib... she's a mess.

not to mention she really did go out the front door a couple weeks ago... (still don't know how) and was picking azaleas on the side of the house while i ran franticly, almost in tears up and down the steps yelling Teagan over and over only to hear Kinsley say "hey silly girl where have you been" what a relieving noise that was :)

Advent Calendar

starting december 1st the kids (well, kinsley :) has opened up a box on the advent calendar gingerbread house thing... and inside i've put all different kinds of things for us to do... family things, random acts of kindness for our friends, family and neighbors, and just fun things to do together to share Gods love! :) (no, i didn't think of this all by myself.. blog world helped :)

so one day we made 3 lanterns and gave them away... and kins would say "we're sharing God's love!"

thanksgiving morning i made green bean casserole and macaroni and cheese (or maybe i just heated it up...) and two pies...

last night dustin and i had a date night with Kinsley. we took her to dinner and to see Disney on Ice, dare to dream... with Rapunzel, Cinderella and the princess and the frog. she sat there the first 10 minutes frozen. didn't move, super serious. then at intermission Dustin and i wanted something to eat :) and she just wanted to go back so she didn't miss Rapunzel... hah. i was a lot of fun and all we could think is what would we do if we only had one kid! it would be a breeze! :) (and ak told me the other day that last summer we did only have one kid... what?!?! wow, it's been a busy year.)

snapped it right in time to catch the fireworks! :)

at the end of the night d and i noticed we had carried Kinsley everywhere... to and from the car, to the bathroom... everywhere. i guess were used to having our hands full... it was kinda funny to us :)

Kinsley, my 3 year old who only dreams of being 4,5 and 6.

-every day she talks about when she'll be BIG! and be 4! i mean this is a very serious topic with her.

-she is sooooo creative, comes up with craft projects, games, plays with her imaginary friends (who she also talks about how old they are all the time... their age changes frequently)

-she's still pretty bossy... it can be a tough fight up against the one she gets it from :)

-LOVES her brother, and sister... she's just really good at pushing teagan also

-counts to 30, recognizes 1-10, knows most abc's... can look at a words and say letters.. ex. t-o-d-d-l-e-r-s.

-told us today she's 4 so she needs to sit at a different chair at the table... huh?

-loves to bake with me, she's great at operating the mixer

-she remembers everything you tell her

-smart

-D asked her why Teagan was crying and she responds "i think she must have a fever"

-has really bad eczema/dry skin on the top of her legs

-dries her own hair

-picks out her own clothes (i try and have some influence.. just depends on the day)

-not great at pedelling her bike, really good on her scooter, almost dies on her roller-skates :)

-VERY into making crafts

-ask almost every morning "where we going today"

and my crazy Teagan. Lately this child has been NUTTS!

-she's been getting her one year molars for almost 3 months straight

-this has made her miserable some days.. i seriously looked at her 2 weeks ago and thought so this is what she looks like when she smiles with all those teeth (she barely ever smiled at all!)

-she hardly eats anything

-still speaks Russian with only a new word every week...

-major shoe obsession

-takes a parent/tot gymnastics class and loves it

-talks to camden (makes noises like he does)

-still puts on necklaces every time she sees one

-loves soft drinks... no, we do not give them to her... she'll see a cup with a straw and do all she can to get to it

and the girls share a room!

on thanksgiving they spent the night at nana and papas with their cousins so we took advantage of it and did some rearranging!

and what i dreaded, has gone unbelievably smooth!

teagan goes to bed about 45min to and hour after kinsley so she's good and asleep when we tiptoe in with K. and now we just do bedtime books and say our prayers with K in my room and it's working out pretty well.

the only challenge is teagan waking up from a nap first...still trying to work this one out. k wakes up in the morning first at the current time, so she tiptoes out to our room. and if T wakes up we just run in and grab her and K usually will go back to sleep. i'm sure there will be some interesting days... so far K has gotten in her crib with her in the morning, turned off the noise machine while t was sleeping, opened and closed the door at least 5 times to see if T was awake yet (which she was by the 5th time), and sat up in the night yelling mommy daddy bc T was crying (we kinda forgot to put a new diaper on her before bed... she was a wee bit wet with pee :)

4 months old!

life has taken a turn... and gotten soooo much easier! this little boy is SOOOO happy, so much fun, and pretty easy!

a week and a half ago (when i started this blog post) he turned 4 months old and a couple weeks before we finally sleep trained him... and of course it was SOOOO EASY. just like everything i dread with the kids. now we just plop him down 3 times a day for his naps and he sucks his thumb and puts himself right to sleep!

and he finally got his own room on Thanksgiving!

and SLEPT THROUGH THE NIGHT.

yes i do realize i was the problem. (except he has been congested 3 times and had a rough time sleeping, thanks to the girls germs) i know. but i couldn't help to jump up every time he breathed to loud or moved. i knew we had to part. even our two noise machines could't help me sleep, i have a permanent radar for breathing, fussing, crying children. and if i was just laying there listening to him wiggle for 15 minutes i figured may as well nurse him really quick and put him right back to sleep. and yes, i knew i was a bad tactic all along, i just had to get determined to change it :)

so now, he sleeps all night or wakes up once to eat

camden and his napping and sleeping has made life much much easier!

and he's currently 18lbs 10oz (93%) and 27in (94%). still my big boy!

and

we did have what we thought would be his big UNC doctors appt. we thought we'd find out whether he was severe or moderate from having some blood work done. well, we finally got the right lady to do little babies veins and she and the other nurses couldn't find one single vein on his body to get blood from. its hard on little babies to begin with but especially ones that are a little chunky :) and thats my boy. so we'll wait until February. he's not exactly the one you want to go poking around in with a needle. ugh, that makes me want to throw up. before he starts crawling or waling his ped.hematologist really wants to know which he is... so keep praying for moderate! :) i'm just hoping for a small miracle :)

well, there's never a dull day, or moment, around this house!

what we've been up to lately...

last week we hit up marbles on friday... the girls loved it, and i'd say camden enjoyed is ride too :)

there's a lot of dressing up going on around here... super girl is currently performing

this girl loves playing with baby dolls... i've never seen a 1 yr old who can play with them as well as teagan.

here her dad taught her how to carry it around with out holding it...and she left tiny baby in there for at least half and hour... then the remainder of the day stuffed everything else in her shirt. we took her clothes off for bath time and there was tons of toilet paper in there

camden's still warming up to rabbits...

and i finally got some good use out of her... :)

and we've been doing a lot of crafts lately... i walked away and evidentially failed to tell her not to flip your paper over when you paint... it has to dry.

and if you fall asleep on the couch, keep one eye open... teagan might come bop you in the head any minute :)

my most wonderful husband completed two more projects! thank you babe! :) we outdoor carpeted the back screened in porch, so the kids have been playing out there the past month and a half in the nice weather... we love it!

and he built some swings! i don't know if you can call it a swing set... but the girls love to swing... so they really enjoy it :) and it gives us something to do in our big back yard :)

and the last of the birthday celebrations were done with dustins dads family!

they came for a visit on Kinsleys birthday and brought the little ones some fun gifts and a yummy cake!

then we went to dinner at CPK, where everyone had a nice enjoyable time except for me being in a little panic... my little boy somehow cut the top of his gum, i guess with a fingernail and i noticed how he had kept putting a blanket in his mouth which had all these spots of blood on it. i called UNC to talk to the pediatric hematologist on call and they said to give it an hour and call back if it hadn't stopped and try and not let anything touch or agitate it besides ice, thank goodness it stopped! oh i am dreading the day something serious happens to him! anyhow, besides me being distracted by that, our time together was wonderful!

my wonderful husbands 31st birthday was a crazy day, but a lot of fun!

it started off with ak coming over to watch the 3, and D and i going to breakfast :)

then putting the kids down for naps and were off to kinsley's party!

i can't believe my baby girl is 3!

she had her first big birthday party with friends at it, and it was a gymnastics party!

it was SO MUCH FUN!

(i think i was just as excited and had just as much fun at it as she did :)

kinsley could invite 10 friends to join her and they started off with some stretching and an obstacle course...

this is what kinsley has done every single wednesday for at least a year. K, nana, papa and teagan go to cary mall, ride the carousel, get candy, Kinsley jumps, they sometimes ride the train and they eat lunch. every.single.wednesday.

except for one. last week mom was out of town so D and i took her to dance and then had to fill their shoes and take the girls to mall. they both showed us where to go and what to do...even little teagan. it's hilarious.

but then i took these two to the grocery store with me for the first time and best of all... camden fell asleep while shopping!

first i couldn't believe he stayed in there, and much less fall asleep! YaY!

if you can't find teagan she's either playing with the shoes or she's shut herself in a room... she walks around shutting all the doors in the house this week.

and maybe this is how he falls asleep... slightly suffocated with a passy :)

i think we'll stick with brown hair :)

but what else is there to do in the forever long carpool line! she's already mastered putting the keys in the hole and working all the buttons from the drivers seat

no wonder he hates a passy... it gets shoved in his mouth all day long by everyone :)

i've tried so hard to shove this passy in his mouth to keep him from sucking his thumb... ugh, i'm going to have to fix two thumb suckers now! or i'll just have buck teethed children... he tries so hard to get just his thumb in his mouth... it's gone from his fist in his mouth, to a few fingers and i think he's finally getting what he wants.. but he's not very good at it. teagan started at 6 weeks and had it mastered at 12... i guess he has to have something though and it sure isn't going to be that passy he hates :)

it's weird.. but the song "it's my life, and it's now or never, i ain't gonna live forever" is another random line that goes through my head all the time. so i gotta live it up! and boy am i, just not like anyone would think...

yesterday started off with waking up 5x for me and 4x for dustin during the night. we just really hate to lay still for too long and let out muscles get all flabby. i accidentally ate dairy, hence camdens waking up in pain... and teagan and her dang teeth! number 2 of the one year molars (FINALLY) came in. I'm just praying she gets them all in before college at the rate this process is going.

so we're up. i meet Beth and her kids at the mall. i only have half of the stroller. that is a really bad thing when you have a 3 month old, 16 month old, 35 month old and your 364 months old. jk. but with C and T i was doomed to fail with only 1 seat. but we had fun... everything except my back and arms, D had this great idea we start doing a push up app on the iPad the night before. well 30 push ups in one night after 3 years of basically NO exercise! feels wonderful.

so we leave. i pull over on the side of the road bc T stole Kinsleys ice cream andy there are clumps of it all over her face, and it is just everywhere.

then 4 minutes later i run out of gas. on the side of a very curvy road! i could hardly steer my car off the road! what's up with the steering wheel running out of gas! anyhow... Beth comes back and we all sit together in the car while we wait for dustin to save us.

before we pull away teagan poops, i gasped for air the whole way home with the diaper right beside me. then she vomits all over herself in her carseat from crying so hard. then i go to get her out and nearly vomit.

it was a wonderful experience :)

so for the record, if you drive a sequoia, you can only drive about a day and a half with the gas light on and 0 miles. yeah i know... but there are no gas stations around here... and wouldn't you think my lovely husband could get me some when he drives it childless! with the gas light on! uh huh. thank you. love you babe :)

so we joined in this year, on a house to house party and threw together our last minute costumes... (out of about 50 people dustin got voted funniest and we came in second for best couple :)

we had a lot of fun with it... i think D may have had a little too much fun being a redneck... see i've only known him since he was 18...it came so natural i think he may have been a redneck growing up...

It started with a hayride through the corn fields next door, then they "picked a pumpkin" (or just grabbed one of the scattered ones off ground) and did some crafty things in her classroom. it was really cute and she was super excited teagan and i were there for her :)

my sweet baby boy turned 3 months old last week, and good gracious these past 3 months have been ABSOLUTELY CRAZY!

its been in a good way, if you consider non-stop talking, baggy eyes, lots of caffeine, little sleep, random aliments, a whiney teething child, super late nights working, and lots of laughter (because thats the only way to make it through!)...a good thing!

this is cheesy but every day at some point, the line from jon and kate runs through my head... It might be a crazy life, but it's our life. bc our life is absolutely crazy, but i don't want to miss a second of it or miss a single moment of one of the kids growing up which just means i have to be on alert 100% all day long, and intentionally give it all to make sure i don't miss anything. so at the end of the day... i'm just tired. but that's ok... at least i'm having fun getting there. (or maybe i'm always there...)

anyhow... i need somewhere to remember my random thoughts...

-my baby boy is absolutely adorable. he LOVES his mommy. still wakes up 2x a night, not necessarily to eat... but i feed him anyway. one day i'll work on his sleeping. what am i waiting for? who knows... a good nights sleep maybe? hmmmmm.... this isn't working.
-his stoplight screaming is toning down. sometimes we drive and he "talks" loudly the whole time or just looks around... amazing huh. a week and a half ago he found his hands, sometimes he just stares at them :) he loves his playmat, laughs and grins the whole time you dress or undress him- he thinks you're trying to tickle him. he really doesn't like the passy... it's a forced thing. and he's desperately trying to suck his thumb, he just can't single that finger out so he sucks his whole hand
-Kinsley is AWESOME with her brother. she can entertain him for over half and hour. she'll sit and talk to him, read him books and just love on him. it's so sweet.
-Teagan on the other hand will poke him in the eye, mouth and mash on his stomach. she loves to shove the passy into his closed mouth. she always steals his baby, sometimes his passy. yet, loves to give him kisses. she means well... :)
-Kinsley currently has 3 imaginary friends. this is very serious :) Bobby, Andrea and Daddy. Bobby and Andrea are kids on this DVD she has. Daddy? i have no clue why he's always with them. They sometimes eat with us, sleep downstairs (never in her room), sometimes i accidentally sit on them, she cooks for them, reads them stories, they don't ride in car seats, and sometimes they're small and sometimes they're her size. that's all i currently remember about them... i'll try and pay better attention :)
-Teagan speaks fluently in another language. I'm waiting for an iPhone app to come out so i can figure out which one and it will interpret for me. i mean she speaks it in sentences. and says it to you like you should know what she's saying. she can repeat most simple words, not that she goes back and uses them all :)
-Teagan calls her siblings "bro-da" and "sis-ta" i guess thats how i refer to them a lot
-D and I finally gave in and got iPhones. we caved. joined the rest of the goggly eyed, phone starers. i must say, the camera/video is my favorite. i could care a less knowing what FB says right away.
-Camden is still in our room. if he had one to go to, he'd be in it for sure. he makes noises, ones that wake me up all night long bc i'm a paranoid sleeper, exact opposite of my husband. i'm getting there, but not quite ready for the girls to share... i just see there being a lot less sleep in this house. and you know mornings in this house are not allowed to be early.
-Kinsley insist on reading to us all.day.long. the only problem is she can't read. i don't think i'm going to teach her... then she'll never stop, and it will all be out loud :) jk. i love it. reminds me of someone :)
-the girls are obsessed with playing in the car, specifically the drivers seat. and with our phones... I'm pretty sure k can operate it better than myself
-and my last thought of the moment. i am ready for halloween to be over. these decorations are awful, and creepy, and don't make you feel warm and happy like christmas ones... i mean spider webs? dead people? ugh...

mountain getaway!

so my parents rented a big ole cabin in the woods up in the mountains north of blowing rock and we hung out there for 3 nights with 3 crazy children :) we went to downtown blowing rock one day and hiked at jefferson national park another, and the afternoon was naps! so we had a relaxing time and a lot of fun!

K and T enjoyed the wrap around porch... really, they did.

dustin and i cooked them a yummy dinner... salmon, grilled vegetables, mashed potatoes, and a mexican salad. (yes, i am a little proud...i managed to get it all ready with all 3 kids. that is a large accomplishment in my current life :)

last weekend dustin and i took the kids to a random park, with some

neat little rides :)

K informed us she was not getting on the carousel bc they didn't have ropes on the horses and she would fall off... ok then

they rode the train

camden and i hung out and chatted :)

he practiced sticking his tongue out

the airplane ride, and thankfully teagan didn't jump out... we were prepared to run in and catch her if she attempted to

watching them do these little rides together made me so thankful they had each other... i might be absolutely crazy raising my 3, but being only 2 years and 8 months apart at the most, they'll always be able to play together!

cause if they didn't have each other, they'd look like this.

(k wouldn't get in bc she didn't want to under the boat in the water... who knows.)

K always says, "watch me teagan, i'll show you"

love it.

and we wrapped it up with a movie and popcorn :)

and yes. teagan got her first haircut :) by me. scary i know. i just got the urge and chopped off the back scraggly part. i may be a little uneven but if she would have stopped turning her head back and fourth over and over with the scissors almost going in her eye it would be more even. today, she's been so grumpy i have no desire to go near her with scissors. :) so she may just have a crooked little bob :)

my sweet, loving husband surprised me by taking off early friday, and bringing me flowers and a frappachino!

it was a crazy week of him working until 3 or 4 in the morning... and my week was crazy with the 3 bc Teagan is either completly miserable or grumpy. she can not get these one year molars through quick enough! she falls flat on her face if anything makes her upset and she will hardly eat a thing. i think the only thing thats keeping her alive is milk. she's a mess :)

talking in different ways

these sweet children can wear you out, but make your day.

and nothing in the world is as enjoyable as watching them accomplish something.

so on the subject of talking...

while camden and i were "talking" today, i was thinking about how much fun it is to hear his little sounds and how he "talks" back and fourth with you and he just started laughing a few days ago :)

then Teagan talking is another story. her new words, or her constant babbling that sounds like she's speaking fluent german are just hilarious. new word of the week... "UH-OH!" and she uses it well!

then there is Kinsley. who process and connects everything. you can talk with this girl just like and adult...

so they're all 3 talking, just completely different... it's these moments I stop and make sure I take in everyday so I don't miss them... i just LOVE being their mommy!

so we have discovered he loves soft things, so we gave him his monkey... and check out this sleeping position

and this little nutt is getting her 1 year molars and we are on week 2 of a MESS with her! these teeth take FOREVER!

between the baby, D working half the night, and teagan getting up i'm not sure who's sleeping around here!

sometimes i think dustin and i have lost our minds. we went to the mall and decided to eat dinner at Kanki, with all 3 kids... well, it went over pretty well... i wouldn't say we looked as peaceful as the rest of the people there though, but thats our life :)

so tonight i was laying in bed with K. she said her prayers (prayed something different for everyone in our family... so precious :) then i asked her if she liked dinner. she informed me she did not like the fire at dinner. she did like the rice and the shrimp. and she did not want to eat any more bikini! lol! (zucchini)

teagan basically ate mints from the hostess stand for dinner...

K read to baby brother for 15 minutes at least and he just watched her... meanwhile teagan came in and out of our story time bringing new gadgets to us...

about as well as teagan crawled up the steps and decided to take a seat on a 4 inch ledge... crazy!

for the record. it's wednesday. i've been to 3 doctors this week. my newest aliment of the week. well i fell down the stairs the night before last, it was loud and i have carpet burn down my back, a sore butt and abs, and i woke up with a tingle in my right arm and leg. nice. so the chiropractor fixed half of that. then my poison ivy has spread and i just couldn't take it anymore... it was keeping me awake half the night scratching... and it's just not in a good spot. so the dr. put me on steroids for 9 days. they are wonderful, but a major side effect is insomnia, yeah that isn't so nice but at least I'm not itching laying there. and then i ate something bad yesterday so i had a wonderful couple hour food poisioning bug in the middle of the night, at least i was awake anyway... but it hasn't gone over so well with the baby today, he screams for a bit after he eats... sad. so hopefully tomorrow will be a healthy, uneventful one! YAY! teagan and i are going to do little gym together... so that's exciting! :)

i could just squish him!!!

K has been asking for a pumpkin for over a week. so we finally went back to green acres pumpkin patch to let her pick one out.

today we got professional pictures taken. holy cow. that was an exhausting experience with children who couldn't be at more difficult ages to photograph. whew. i mean they were pretty good, they just all wouldn't smile at the same time.. go figure :) and it was hot, and there were bugs... and all that made my poison ivy itch. but it's done! and maybe K will have blue teeth bc of the sucker i gave her, and teagan may have snot coming out of her nose bc she's getting teeth and camden may have crossed eyes... but by golly we got pictures of it!

so back to the pumpkin patch... one crazy nutt.

we have a lot of extra bread i guess...

and it makes us want to feed it to the ducks :)

today they got about 2 loaves... and thank goodness they were hungry! :)

like so hungry i thought they were going to nibble on teagans legs :)

this cute little boy slept 7 hours straight!

and his mamma slept 9 hours straight! (didn't even pee!)

so thank you my most wonderful husband ever for that sleep!

oh, and thanks camden for not needing more food... :)

(maybe i shouldn't say needing, but wanting...we know this big boy doesn't need it... :)
